Basic Requirements

• Spaceflight opportunity open to anyone over the age of 18

• Must meet Blue Origin requirements around weight, height, physical fitness and citizenship

• For safety reasons, basic English language proficiency is required

Mission registration is required to participate in voting on candidates and science experiments. You do not need to be an astronaut candidate to vote

Mission participants will only be able to vote for candidates and experiments from their nation or region, with the exception of the 6th global seat

The Mission hub will display a running leaderboard for each seat as candidates accumulate votes. There will be a cut at the end of Phase 1

The finalists from Phase 2 will come together to have their journeys documented as they push through the final phase of the selection process 

Crew Formations

Candidates will form into crews, with 1 representative from each seat, to compete in series of challenges that will be streamed over several episodes

Votes are cast for entire crews rather than individuals after each episode. The crew with the least votes is eliminated until only one crew remains

Final Crew

The final crew will then report for training on the Blue Origin ranch in West Texas 3 days before the flight
